New Patch, MAC Build & 0.4.7 Android Port

Today we come with very important news

Final Orginity v0.4.7 B

Last week, we said we’d share a post announcing the new patch of the game and here we are. Final Orginity v0.4.7 B is an update that fixes the bugs reported by you (and us) during these post-release weeks. In principle, all of them should be solved now, but once again, we encourage you to share any errors or weird details you may find in the Bug Report channel on our Discord server.

Aside from the bugfix, this patch also debuts a large portion of the new vegetation for the game, which SpaceSandwich has been working on for a while now.

VIP! HOW TO INSTALL THE MAC VERSION? (SPOILER ALERT: IT WORKS!)

Some Mac users may face issues when trying to open the game due to Apple's security settings. Follow these steps to launch the game successfully.

• Step-by-Step Instructions:
• 1. Move the Game Folder to the Desktop
  • Unzip the game if it's in a .zip file.
  • Move the entire game folder (e.g. FINAL_ORGINITY_V0.X.X_B_MAC) to your Desktop.
  • Inside this folder, you’ll find the Game.app.
• 2. Open Terminal
  • Open the Terminal app (you can find it using Spotlight: press Command + Space and search for “Terminal”).
• 3. Give the App Permission to Run
  • Copy and paste the following command into Terminal: sudo chmod -R 775 ~/Desktop/FINAL_ORGINITY_V0.X.X_B_MAC/Game.app
  • Press Enter, then type your Mac password (nothing will appear as you type).
  • Press Enter again.
• 4. Remove the Security Block:
  • macOS marks apps downloaded from the internet as “quarantined.” This can block them from opening. Paste this command into Terminal and press Enter: xattr -d com.apple.quarantine ~/Desktop/FINAL_ORGINITY_V0.X.X_B_MAC/Game.app
• Launch the Game Now try to open the game by running: open ~/Desktop/FINAL_ORGINITY_V0.X.X_B_MAC/Game.app Or simply double-click the Game.app in Finder.
• If the Game Still Won’t Open
  • Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security.
  • Scroll down and look for the message: "Game.app was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer."
  • Click "Open Anyway".
    • That’s it You should now be able to enjoy Final Orginity on your Mac. If you run into any other issues, feel free to contact us for support.

And here’s the news many of you were waiting for… the Final Orginity v0.4.7 port for Android is finally here!

We’re sorry you had to wait so long, but there were some complications that delayed this release.

Just a reminder: for now, the Android ports of Final Orginity are NOT made by us. They’re done by a third party, completely unaffiliated with Ropoductions. What does this mean? The port is NOT 100% official, so we don’t control the release timelines. Also, it’s possible that the APK may contain bugs that aren’t present in the PC version.

On another note, please be aware that this new APK is NOT Final Orginity v0.4.7 B. This means the new vegetation and some of the bug fixes introduced in the 0.4.7 B build are NOT present in this Android version we’re sharing.

So yeah, that’s everything for today. We spent the whole day trying to make the MAC port work (and it seems to work!). We’re also working on bringing you a version of Final Orginity for iOS. Who knows, maybe it’ll be here sooner than later. And, of course, we will keep working hard on the summer update.
